LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers now have their backs against the wall.

After being defeated by the Orlando Magics the Cavs are now down 3-1.

Despite finishing with the best regular season standing in the league this year, the

Cavaliers looked vulnerable under Orlando’s Magic Spell.

The Cavaliers definitely needs help from their role players. No question on LeBron’s

performance. LeBron really needs help and he needs it badly.

Boston started the 07-08 NBA season with the "Big Three", namely Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.

Only 20 games in the young 07-08 season, the "Big Three" has been able to lead Boston to a 18-2 record. The "Big Three" has been a huge reason of their early success. Tonight was just different from the last 20 games where the "Big Three" has played. Ray Allen(SG), tonight will miss his first regular season game to rest his sore right ankle.

Allen was injured last Nov. 24 in Charlotte, but still opted to play and start for the Boston Celtics.

Boston Celtics is waxing hot right now as they start the season with 5 straight victories.
Led by the trio of Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.
Boston has been able to win all 5 games due to team effort.
Just this morning as they visited the Nets at New Jersey, they showed patience in their offense and looked for their open teammates for an open shot.

Pierce was amazing in the 3rd quarter as the Celtics grew a 20-point lead.

Garnett had another double-double performance with 18 points 14 rebounds.

Ray Allen added 27 points and 10 rebounds.

Rajon Rondo had 11 points and Eddie House had 13.

The Celtics is the only team in the NBA without a loss.
So much is expected of this Boston lineup since the "Big Three" has been assembled.
So far, they are doing just as expected.

Kevin Garnett, the newest Boston Celtic.

The acquisition of the "Big Ticket" was possible when Boston traded 5 active players and 2 draft picks for KG. This trade just shows how precious the acquisition of the "Big Ticket" is for the Celtics. Kevin Garnett was reported to wear jersey number 5. He will have Ray Allen and Paul Pierce as his double barrelled guns.

The future is now brighter for the Boston Celtics but they still have to work hard to reach their goal of having another NBA championship.

At the start of the playoffs, the Dallas Mavericks have high hopes of having another run, DEEP in the playoffs.
They ended the regular season having the NBA’s Best Record of the Season with a 67-15 win-loss record and a 81.7% winning percentage.

Everybody expected Dallas to cruise past Golden State in the 1st Round of the Western Conference, But Golden State had other plans. The Golden State Warriors own a 42-40 win-loss record and had to win their last regular season game to enter the playoffs, nobody expected them to demolish a team that’s lead by the league’s leading MVP candidate, Dirk Nowitzki.

After 13 years of being out of the playoff picture the Golden State Warriors was opening the playoff series at Dallas. Golden State started with Al Harrington 6′9" at center position. This move by Golden State head coach Don Nelson was clear that he wanted his team to be faster and quicker on the floor. Although many thought that this move would backfire at Golden State, they managed to win game 1 with a 12 point lead. Upsetting the crowd in Dallas and adding some more confidence in them.

Game 2, still at Dallas. Dallas looking forward to even the series and get back to their winning form. Jason Terry led the Mavs with 28 points and Dirk Nowitzki added 23 to even their series with Golden State. Emotions got out of hand during the game as Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson got ejected, in different occassions. Venue for game 3 will shift to Oakland California.

20,629 people gather at the Oracle Arena for the Golden State Warriors 1st playoff home game since May 4, 1994. Jason Richardson erupted for 30 points 12 of 19 from the field and 8 rebounds, teammate Baron Davis added 24 points on 50% shooting to give Golden State a 2-1 series lead over Dallas.

Game 4 had a different story with Dallas leading for most of the time in the 4th quarter. But a great performance in the last 3 minutes of the game by the Golden State Warriors point guard Baron Davis sealed the Warriors 3rd win in the series. Golden State can complete an upset if they beat the Mavs in Dallas and can make history by being the 3rd 8th seeded team to beat a no.1  seed. Dallas looks shock as they try to go home for game 5.

Mavericks showing pride in game 5 as they win it behind Dirk Nowitzki’s 12 points in a 15-0 run over the last 3:07 minutes. After seeing Baron Davis hit a 3 pointer for a 112-103 lead, Dallas looked like they were going down after blowing a 21 point lead after three quarters. Mavs looked to their superstar Dirk Nowitzki to lift them out and live for another game in the series. Nowitzki showed up like an MVP.

Back to Oakland for game 6. Another sell-out crowd of 20,677 fans gathered to witness one of the NBA’s biggest upsets in playoff history. As the 1st half ended, it was a close match with Golden State leading with 2 points. Nowitzki was noticeably off due to the defense that Golden State was putting on him. Nowitzki shot 2 of 13 from the field and 0 for 6 from beyond the arc. Nowitzki was limited to only 8 points in the entire game. Josh Howard and Jerry Stackhouse had 20 a piece but not enough to stop the inspired Warriors team. Baron Davis had 20 points 10 rebounds and 6 assists even with an injured leg. Teammate, Stephen Jackson had a monster game with 33 points, 7 of 7 from beyond the arc. Golden State got a nice 2nd half start, as they held dallas to only 9 points going midway of the 3rd quarter. The game was already decided with still 8 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter, since Dallas coach Avery Johnson started to play his role players and sat his starters.

Cheers for the "Underdogs!"
Golden State Warriors played like a champion team all series long…
