Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers are closing in to their second

straight appearance in the NBA Finals, but before they can achieve this

feat they need to dispatch the Hungry Denver Nuggets.

Denver has been playing hard all through out the series but have lost

two close games wherein the look good to win it.

The Lakers role players are slowly contributing for the team and looks

like the key for the L.A. to clinch the series. Game 6 is in Denver this

Friday at 9:00pm ET.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers now have their backs against the wall.

After being defeated by the Orlando Magics the Cavs are now down 3-1.

Despite finishing with the best regular season standing in the league this year, the

Cavaliers looked vulnerable under Orlando’s Magic Spell.

The Cavaliers definitely needs help from their role players. No question on LeBron’s

performance. LeBron really needs help and he needs it badly.

Penalosa vs Lopez

Tomorrow is the much awaited fight from Juan Manuel Lopez &

Gerry Penalosa. Juan Manuel Lopez is the rising star of boxing’s

Super Bantamweight Division while Gerry Penalosa is the veteran

who once again looks to fight the hands of time.

I’m routing for Penalosa, the underdog. Just can’t forget about

what happened to Johnny Gonzales when he got hit with a

vicious Penalosa body punch.

Orlando Magic entered the playoffs as the 3rd seed of the Eastern Conference

and they face a hungry team in Philadelphia 76ers as the 6th seed. 76ers won

the 1st game in Orlando in a shocking fashion. Game 2 was statement game for

the Magic as they won by 9 points, with a great game from Courtney Lee.

Hours ago was Game 3 at Philadelphia. The 76ers once again came up with a

bang as they defeated the Magic. The game was tied with 6.9 seconds in

regulation as the 76ers were to inbound the ball. With Miller to inbound the

ball passed it to 2nd year Thaddeus Young on the baseline made his drive to

the basket taking it to Howard and making the basket for a 2 point lead.

Orlando have no timeouts left as they inbound the ball to Lewis for a

desperation heave  from beyond the half-court line which was high of the

glass. The final score was 94-96.

The 76ers enjoy a 2-1 series lead over Orlando with Game 4 to be

played in Philadelphia.

I’m currently drooling over mushroom today, until I found myself on the internet looking for mushroom recipes.

I’m about to try this:

Baked Scallops and Mushrooms in Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

3/4 lb Scallops

1/4 cup Flour

1/2 lb Mushrooms, Sterms removed and minced

3 tblsp Olive Oil

1/4 cup White Wine

3 tblsp Fine Bread Crumbs

2 tblsp Minced Onion

1 tblsp Minced Parsely

2 clove Minced or Pressed Garlic

pinch of Red Pepper Flakes & Salt

Instructions:

Preheaet oven to 350F. Brush a shallow baking dish with 1 tbs of the oil.

Bake the mushroom caps for 10min. combine stems, crumbs, onions, parsely

red pepper and salt. Mix together well and add scallops to the baking dish.

If you really want to be artistic, plan it out so the scallops are a good size to fit

into the mushroom caps, and buy the same number of each. Then you can stick

one scallop in each ’shroom.

Add the wine to the baking dish. Sprinkle the minced mixture over all, and drizzle

the remaining oil over. Bake for 20 more min. or until done.

"opportunity knocks only once", that’s why I gave my best shot. Oh well, that’s it. hehe.

I’m currently training for a company in our place and I certainly hope that I can pass

the last few examinations which the company is about to give us this weak.

Just tonight, I was watching the television show "Maalaala Mo Kaya" with the episode "Rosas".

The episode features, Bea Alonzo and Diether Ocampo. The episode was about young lovers, where a young lady developes her love for a simple man who is diagnosed with a deadly disease. The story was great as the characters have portrayed their roles perfectly, which leads me to blogging the said episode.

Diether Ocampo had acted very well in this episode. My personal favorite was when he was lying on the hospital bed with Bea watching her from a distance. Bea was playing with him and was making faces when sudddenly Diether’s site blurred until it was hard for him to see Bea’s beautiful face. Diether really did well, as he really made me think that he was really loosing his site. It was fantastic. Hands down…

Well, another nice heart warming episode from the all-time favorite.

Until the next episode.
