Ubuntu - Linux para sa Sangkatauhan!

I really love what i’m seeing from my desktop. I can’t believe that my PC speaks "tagalog".
Unlike Microsoft’s Windows, Ubuntu has my native language under it’s language menu.
This shows that this OS is definitely for human beigns.

Translation:
for human beigns = para sa sangkatauhan

Since Ubuntu is a distro of Linux, it is free.
When it’s free, it means "it’s for you and me!".

Hello World!

This is actually my 1st post using a different OS.

Here in our place, people only know one OS(operating system) and that is Microsoft’s Windows. But just tonight I happen to think of using my Ubuntu Linux Installer which was delivered to me from New Zealand just last summer.

This OS interests me so much, since I’ve seen some demos about it.
It looks cool specially when you have beryl on it.

So, what I did was I installed it on my spare drive. I’am very glad that I never experienced a difficult installation. Just consulted "GOOGLE" and "Ragingmon" about my Video Card driver. Afterwards I installed VLC for me to be able to watch my movies which is mostly .avi and .mpeg.

Thanks for the Help Ragingmon!
Thanks Ubuntu Linux.

Last August 18, 2007 Philippine Pitbull Club Davao City Chapter held another great event
"Bully Expo & Weight Pulling Contest". People of Davao came out and supported the said event but above all it was another day for the controversial American Pit Bull Terrier dog breed. A lot of dogs came from across towns showing support for the said event. All age groups were welcomed to give support and enjoy the show. It was a great event for all "Pitbulleros" of Davao.

~Thanks to all the people behind the great show. Davao City Mayor Rody Duterte, PPC Davao, Pro Plan, Pet Street, DBK & LCN. I look forward to you next events…

There’s a girl I know who thinks she is a fallen angel.
I never thought of the reason why she feels that way.
She’s cute and simple as I know her.

At first sight, I was in awe of how cute this girl in campus is.
She has this unbelievable attitude towards me that kept me more interested of her.
As I knew this girl more day by day,
She’s got me hooked in everthing about her.

Now, as I said good night to her.
I somehow thought that she might be right all the while.
She might be a "fallen angel", sent by GOD to inspire me everyday.

gerry penalosa

Gerry Peñalosa shocked the boxing world with a legit solid body punch that knocked Johnny Gonzales. He was trailing in points the entire fight. It looked to me like a miracle was needed for him to win the contest, But as he was constantly striving to look for openings he saw one and never let it go

The body punch was so solid that it made Johnny Gonzales drop on his knees at the canvas and not able to beat the count. Imagine how solid that body punch was. It was like Hopkins-Dela Hoya but in a greater fashion. Gerry Peñalosa had nothing going in the fight, I never saw him connect a power punch until that punch.

I can remeber a Filipino analyst said :"The punch came down from Heaven down to the veins of Gerry Peñalosa and ending on the rib of Johnny Gonzales"

daniel ponce de leon

I personally want to congratulate Daniel Ponce De Leon for showing an outstanding performance in his fight against the Filipino Rey "Boom-Boom" Bautista. It took him less than a round to show Bautista how heavy his punches were.

On the other side, I feel sorry for "Boom-Boom". His inexperience was exposed by the fight. Everybody knows he can knock people down but his intellect on the ring is still maturing. I hope this fight will make him better and make him take his time, wait for the kill. I say "Ineperience" because he hasn’t faced an opponent as vicious as De Leon.

Rematch please! I want to see "Boom-Boom" vs De Leon II…

kevin garnett

Kevin Garnett, the newest Boston Celtic.

The acquisition of the "Big Ticket" was possible when Boston traded 5 active players and 2 draft picks for KG. This trade just shows how precious the acquisition of the "Big Ticket" is for the Celtics. Kevin Garnett was reported to wear jersey number 5. He will have Ray Allen and Paul Pierce as his double barrelled guns.

The future is now brighter for the Boston Celtics but they still have to work hard to reach their goal of having another NBA championship.
