As we end our year, some of us in our class planned to celebrate it at the beach. We prepared for this occation for 2 weeks. Indeed, we had a lot of food prepared for ourselves, drinks were also brought and cameras to capture the treasured moments.
This celebration has defined my year with these group of talented and amazing people. I hope to share more happy moments in the future with you guys. . . . Until the next outing!
Finally, the trade talks are over! Iverson finds a new team and he’s going to have a great teammate in Carmelo Anthony. As the Philadelphia 76ers traded Allen Iverson to the Nuggets for Andrea Miller, Joe Smith and 2 future draft picks.
Now the stage is set for the Denver Nuggets to be a title contender in the NBA!
Just these past few days, I came to know a beautiful stranger. I never thought that behind her pretty face was a wounded heart. She was smiling as I saw her on her picture, but she was hurting deep inside. How I wish to help her heal the wounds of her broken heart. Tonight, she cries for some help from me, but I could do nothing but to share some stupid ideas that can never help her recover from the pain that she’s been carrying deep inside. Oh, God knows how bad I feel for this beautiful stranger. If only we’re near, I would try to make you feel better everyday. I know both of us are strangers to each other, but I certainly feel the pain that you are in. I hope that each time you share your pain with me, your heart would heal and be ready to face your future, for there’s a lot in life to enjoy.
What a day! I spent my whole day facing my computer monitor and trying to understand the CSS(Cascading Style Sheet) codes so that I can come up with my "sample design" for our project in Advanced Web Programming. IT took me the whole day but I only came up with a very simple design. Even though I came up with a simple design, I was so glad to make one. It is really not easy to understand, but I really need to experiment on the codes to know how they affect the output. I just can’t wait to see how our project’s going to look in the end. I hope, I can post my sample design but I can’t. . . . .
At first, she was a stranger for me. As I see her photos she was beautiful. She sent me a message asking me if I have studied with her in the same school when we were still in kindergarten. I was not expecting this one, I can hardly remember a thing about this girl. It was about 17 years from the time we were classmates. Tonight, I chatted with her, she was so kind to help me remember the things of the past and helped me remember some names of our classmates. She was so good. I think I want to meet her personally, the problem is, she’s living outside of Davao now. But good thing we have this technology wherein we could communicate with people who are far from where we are. I think, I have to be contented about chatting with her for now, maybe someday she would visit Davao once again and meet me in person. Thanks for helping me remember things from our childhood!
Tonight, I was going through an HTML file and a CSS script. Trying to learn how these files were manipulated to come up with a designed webpage. It’s actually hard to understand for a noob like me, but I need to understand it somehow so that I can contribute on my team on our class project. Now, after I have tried to focus on a line of code, I tried to experiment on it by changing the codes and observed how the codes affect the output. Good thing another learning has added to my knowledge. . . .
Class project for Advanced Web was given to us even though a very small number of people understands on how to make a dynamic website. Much is needed for us to learn and things get uglier for we have to make a "friendster-like" project using php and mySQL, worst thing Design team has to submit a sample output for the main pages of the said project(badly I’m part of the Design Team). Something that’s much worst, We need to come up with a sample output for the said project this SUNDAY!

This is my work in Rhino3D. A simple sword using the common shapes that can be found in Rhino3D. A little similar to ragingmon’s sundang, I modeled my sword after it for I liked it so much. This is just a proof of how I liked it so much (I made one for me!)
In the past 5 days, My sister spent some time to visit us here in Davao(my sister is teaching in Cebu). As she visits us here in Davao she has bought with him a Korean national(her student). This student is a guy, 25 years old and his english name is Charles(because of his favorite basketball player "Charles Barkley"). At first, I was very intimidated by Charles, it was hard for me to talk to him. As the days went by, he turned out to be a very good friend like a brother("Hiong" in Korean dialect). He is smart, funny and crazy(just like me). Just tonight, we had our family Christmas party and a Goodbye party for my sister and Charles as they are to take their flight tomorrow morning going back to Cebu. Charles asked me, if I could drink until we get drunk for tonight, maybe for him to somehow extend the time that he has spent with me and my family. Yes, we drank but only a little a bottle of rhum and 6 bottles of beer. For the time that he has spent here in Davao, he seemed to be a brother to me but for me, I think, I was a brother to him. How I wish that he could still spend more time with my family here in Davao, but he is leaving for Canada, a few more days after he goes back to Cebu. One thing has remained on my mind, can it still be possible for us to enjoy the same way we enjoyed the last 5 days they stayed here? Only God knows. . . .
I am schelduled tomorrow for my class declamation. I haven’t prepared well for this one. I hate memorizing. . . But, this one is important for me to have a good declamation to have a decent grade in my english class. I will be very happy if I can deliver at least 3 stanzas with great mastery. . . . It’s hard to memorize if you have no enough time for it. So, help me GOD!
